Starting a business in Frederick County just got faster!! Virginia’s Business One Stop (BOS) web portal now includes online submission of local business licenses by integrating the local business license requirements of Frederick county. This new feature of the state’s BOS system streamlines the process for Entrepreneurs to register a business completely online.

Peter Su, Director of the Virginia Department of Business Assistance and Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Trade said,’we applaud Fredrick County for taking this pro business step by joining the Virginia Business One Stop. The New BOS is part of Governor Bob McDonnell's promise of making business formation faster in the Commonwealth."

According to Ellen Murphy , Commissioner of Revenue for Frederick County, “ We are excited to offer this new service to the businesses of Frederick County. This is a great example of local and state governments are working together to help small businesses. I hope other localities will join in this state effort.”

The Business One Stop helps small business owners with the required paperwork to get a new business started. Usage of the system continues to grow.
